Porto
A reference worldwide
Porto, World Heritage city classified by UNESCO, is the second largest city in Portugal. With an intense cultural activity, the city of Porto is known for its vast and rich heritage harmoniously combining antiquity and modernity. We may highlight the beauty, the historical value of the Old Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis and the contemporary buildings as the Serralves Museum and the House of Music (Casa da Música).
The region of Porto lies with one of the most important and emblematic rivers flowing in Portugal, the Douro river. It is in its steep slopes that the famous Port wine is produced, symbol of the region and one of the most popular nectars in the world.
